Lyndi currently offers yoga classes, private yoga therapy sessions, yoga playshops, mindfulness presentations, Organic Intelligence session, sexuality education sessions and workshops, pelvic floor workshops, and women's retreats in Tucson and Southern Arizona. Her yoga teaching style is eclectic with a therapeutic flavor. She leads her students in a way that allows them to love and accept themselves exactly where they are on their path while being fully present in their body. She knows a yoga practice can be deep, fun, gentle, challenging, and joyful all at the same time. She believes deeply in the magic of affirmations, glitter, essential oils, love, and laughter.

Lyndi has been practicing yoga since 1995, but it wasn’t until 2004 that she truly discovered all that yoga had to offer. After dealing with various health issues for two years, she returned to yoga after a hiatus. She soon realized the potential for improving her health. After attending several classes weekly for six months, her most severe health issue had improved drastically and she had more joy and energy than ever before. This experience is what truly delivered her to her passion for yoga. In 2007, she began the process of training and certification to be a yoga instructor.

Training & Certifications

Lyndi became a Certified Yoga Teacher in 2007 in a program based on the classical linage of Krishnamacharya and is a E-500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance.

Her main and most influential teacher is Maria Mendola of Functional Yoga Therapy. Her teaching and yoga therapy have been deeply influenced by the work of Amy Weintraub and Lyndi is a LifeForce Yoga® Level 1 Practitioner.  She has studied with Joseph and Lillian LePage and completed an 800 hour Professional Yoga Therapist Training Program in  Integrative Yoga Therapy.  She is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) through the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

In the course of her yoga journey and during a time of intense pelvic pain, Lyndi was introduced to the work of Leslie Howard. This work propelled her down a path of healing herself on a deeper level, as well as the desire to work with other women who have pelvic floor issues. This led to the creation of workshops, lectures, and therapeutic yoga series focusing on the Pelvic Floor. These offerings focus on creating a loving relationship with the pelvis while also bringing in more awareness to the pelvic floor. Participants learn how to both lengthen and strengthen these root muscles. These lectures are held at the world renown Miraval Resort and in various yoga studios in Tucson  Lyndi has also provided training on the pelvic floor to other Yoga Therapists as a part of Maria Mendola’s Functional Yoga Therapy training and has offered training on the pelvic floor in Yoga Teacher Trainings.

Additionally Lyndi is a licensed social worker (LMSW) with over 20 years experience in child welfare and behavioral health, and has extensive training in Trauma Informed Care. She recently completed Organic Intelligence HEART training and is currently in a Sexuality Educator Certification Program thru ISEE.
