Tarjani Mudra

Tarjani Mudra directs breath, awareness and energy into the chest, heart, and lungs, instilling a sense of expansion and openness. It expand the ribcage in all directions , optimizing breath capacity and and releasing muscular tension from the chest

It cultivates enthusiasm and uplifting energy, by releasing energetic blockages from the heart.

Holding this mudra cultivates a sense of spaciousness in the heart which enhances our ability to welcome all our feelings and connect to the hearts essential qualities: compassion, empathy, acceptance, & communion.

To practice this mudra

  • Hold the palms of the hands in front of the solar plexus

  • Gentle press the tips of the index fingers together, allowing the other fingers to relax inward

  • Release the shoulder back and down, with the elbows held slightly away fromt he body, the forearms parallel to the earth and the spine naturally aligned
